Once Upon A Thought

The month in Review, April addition, published May 7, 2008.

I'll try to remember what I saw accurately twisted in my mind.

The last month in pictures. I think I got my hair cut? Or maybe I did it and thought it looked cool, but I can never really capture what it looked like in the picture. GOOF! This picture, lead to these:

Aunt Bonnies G'ma, G'pa Outhouse scene. I've removed some of the pieces for fear of them getting broken, and just because the wall is not very big at all! I love these pieces!

I had this bright idea to paint Ashleigh's room this blue ink blue with a hot pink border! What was I thinking? Ashleigh was in Florida with her Tom Sr., and Marylyn, her Paternal G'pa and step G'ma.

A dream I saw in a store!

A trip to MO with my little girl for the dedication of a firehouse and arieal truck to my G'pa Hurtubise, [Phillip Sheridan, (August 26, 1931-April 10, 2007)]Dedication took place 04192008.

Ash lost her tooth in Wichita, KS while eating breakfast in my Mom's ride just before we headed down the road. The tooth fairy had a hard time finding the tooth in MO.

It snowed on us through Eastern Colorado into Kansas, and rained on us the rest of the way. Some of the narrow roads were a little scary with the trucks driving in the opposite direction would whip our vehicles toward their lane!

My cousin scared the tar out of us while he stood in the woods with his "halloween" mask, just out the window. He had his head cocked just the right way to may the heart pump with a little fear!

The road back proved to be a lot dryer, with a stop in Kansas City, MO (Dearborne really). Walking the yard with Uncle Denny and Aunt Dotty (Holt). The sun set was beautiful to me with the moisture in the air and the ground so green! They sure had a lot of work to do with down trees from a winter storm. We [Ashleigh and I] experienced our first thunderstorm of the year with a spectacular lighting show with the loudest claps of thunder!
